Eat’s A Date: Dinner at Pepper Lunch

Being an Openricer is so much fine. I get to meet and greet with other people, dine in with my beau and have a great meal. For my second Eat’s A Date event, we were able to have a dinner at Pepper Lunch, SM Megamall.

Pepper Lunch @ SM Megamall

One long table, 8 bloggers, 4 openricers, 12 different meals, 6 desserts, and a partridge in a pear tree. haha! I mean *and 12 full tummies.

Pepper Lunch is “a ‘fast-steak‘ restaurant concept that originated in Japan in 1994. It was created by Japanese chef and inventor, Mr. Kunio Ichinose who wanted to serve quality, fast food without the need to train a chef for years“. Here, you get to cook your own food over a 260 degrees Celsius plate within one minute.

The menu:

The food/s:

Being a chicken lover, I chose Teriyaki Pepper Chicken. Yum! As the crew put the plate on my table, the dish sizzled with goodness and the aroma filled the air. :)

Teriyaki Pepper Chicken

I didn’t realize I have to cook it myself until one of the crew asked. I have to cook it while the plate is still hot. Anyway, I let him do the job as I snap at the scenes. :) He poured in the teriyaki sauce over the chicken..

Then toss the chicken until it is covered with sauce

The superdelicious finished product:

Here are also some of the foodies served:

Seafood Pepper Rice w/ Egg

Hamburger and Chicken

Salmon Pepper Rice

Beef Teriyaki w/ Egg

Yummy Ice cream desserts:

The diner caters people from class A to upper class C that’s why the food items costs a bit higher than your average restaurants. No worries, sulit naman! :)

  12. Pepper Lunch is a good place for Japanese-eating people. What I mean, it is for the hunger people with exotic taste buds for foreign prepared foods like Japanese fast foods. It’s a very nice eating experience I’ve known from this blog. Thanks!

I like the food at Sizzling Pepper Steak! Their rice and the sauces also compliment the taste. The only thing I don’t like would be the smell that gets stuck to your clothes after you leave the establishment.
